If A Tree Falls In The Forest...

Play  - If a Tree Falls in the Forest

I am here not to echo the same sentiments
of the ones that came before me;
that’s already been done,
making decisions in fear or procreating carelessly.

I’m the square peg
that never fits into the round hole;
so I cut the hole one inch more wide
only to find more square pegs inside.

Your perception positions me at the top,
middle and sometimes places me behind.
Your perception is your reality,
but your reality, does not make it mine.

Through the art of my stillness
I’ve allowed you to be.
I am the tree that fell in the vast forest,
if you meet me where I am, you will hear me.
