Talking about defenses and weapons like a simple soldier. As with the rest of these episodes, far too reliant on shock value, relying solely on the idea that all viewers will see that it has the cybermen and the master and be satisfied, well no, awful acting, dreadful writing, just complete nonsense all round, and the story with the guard who fell off a cliff doesn't link to the story in any way, and don't defend it by saying that it's part of a two parter, because that doesn't give them an excuse to only write half a story, this episode was awful, the only reason i'm giving it 3 stars is because i've seen how bad it can be, and there were some, very few, but some enjoyable moments, mainly graham, who proves yet again to be the only worthwhile character in this series, and even he was boring in this episode. So we begin with what has the embers of an interesting story within a story in this cesspit of garbage that has passed for Dr Who since he became a she. As this is written prior to the relevance of this character being revealed I will not go down that line but follow the assumption that he is the lone Cyberman. Granted Moffat had the same problem in Nightmare in Silver.
