I think it`s great Fairfield Halls has re-opened ,but i was seriously underwhelmed.We went to see Alexander O`Neal last friday but i`m not reviewing him just the venue.First impressions are it`s brighter ,but that`s the end of the positives.Firstly the sign outside could surely have been updated,secondly to get a drink was taking far too long and thirdly we had booked a box.There were 4 on each side but there were no letters on any door ,on our side E,F,G,and H,we had to open a door to see if it was ours.Surely the budget spent could stretch to 8 letters.After the show we sat in the foyer to have a drink and noticed a hole cut in the plasterboard ceiling with nothing in it,and in the ladies toillet foam filler around the door ,bearing in mind how much it cost to refurbish surely these minor faults should not be occuring.
