We are going outside each day for DPA or gym – sunscreen and a hat are suggested as long as the afternoon sun continues into the fall. We are off to a good start – our first few days with the whole class have gone well – all things considered. Try reading the poem a few times – can you read smoothly, as though you are talking? Students used counters to arrange and display the different feet (example grandma, boy, dog) and then counted or added to find the total number. We are learning tallies, ten-frames, and dot formation on dice. I will read a few stories about Indigenous culture and we will talk about school, how we feel about school, and how it might feel to have to go to a new school.
