True there was a level of art and strong development in these earlier experiments but the full flower of their sound took time to develope and these are certainly steps along the way. i would :]
Keep your comments focused on the release. Despite their best efforts, their first three albums (1970’s Kraftwerk, 1972’s Kraftwerk 2, and 1973’s Ralf & Florian) have remained in circulation. KRAFTWERK Kraftwerk 2 reviews Kraftwerk 2 is a music studio album recording by KRAFTWERK (Progressive Electronic/Progressive Rock) released in 1971 on cd, lp / vinyl and/or cassette. Kraftwerk are a band trapped in the vast frame of their apparent influence. But fact is even with that the band were musically involving. actually smiled, Digging: Have Mercy (MD) - Armageddon Descends. ). Review Summary: While it’s far from their best, Kraftwerk 2 is a load bearing pillar of what would become their future sound. Point is, the episodes here is generally easy to watch, and while still a bit unstructured, has more direction to it than either of the first two seasons did. here. When Kraftwerk 2 was recorded in late 1971, Ralf had just rejoined Florian Schneider after the latter had soldiered on as a three-piece with drummer Klaus Dinger and guitarist Michael Rother (who split to form the amazing Neu!). Disabling it will result in some disabled or missing features. Album Rating: 3.5"not sure why the band tried to hide this"
3 reviews on the front page at once, new record for me I think. And on the 8th day, God created Kraftwerk. Album Rating: 4.0"I, the avant tryhard that I am, cannot justify calling Kraftwerk 2 a stone-cold classic"
Have a newfound appreciation for Wellenlänge after this review, that one really stood out to me as exceptionally good (alongside Klingklang of course), > I wouldn't go that far

Kraftwerk's "Computer World" is often considered to be their last great album. ★★★★★Kraftwerk purified electronic sound, then largely stuck to it.
Kraftwerk have often, and lazily, been called “the Beatles of electronic music”for their influence on modern sound. Please try again. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness. The other tracks are slow, almost formless pieces that move with understated, almost glacial slowness. develop into an almost heavy metal grunge under the Schneider/Dinger/Rother line-up (which never released an album, although a fascinating live bootleg called K4 emerged in 2006). The sidelong opener "Klingklang" has them beginning their concentrating on beats as opposed to anything overly rhythmic. Background. I’m not here to convince you that Kraftwerk 2 is somehow Kraftwerk’s lost masterpiece that has been tucked away in a vault somewhere as to not melt minds with its sheer brilliance. I’ve seen some people talk about this being a drop in quality from the debut, and I think that’s probably fair. Someone else go do Ralf & Florian now. It would seem by listening to these early Kraftwerk albums that their albums in the future became a lot more consistant when they developed a more potent style and stuck to variating on that as opposed to just tinkering with different devices to see how musical they could sound. Musique instrumentale minimaliste assez entêtante surtout toujours pour ce long morceau. I've been a fan since I bought the album Autobahn in 1974. For all intents and purposes this is,in fact and with the similar cover art this is in fact a continuation of Kraftwerk's first album: one coherant cut and a number of experiments. Television analogies. Ralf and Florian recorded this album as a duo, with percussion provided by a drum machine for the first time. This doesn't even make good background music! The lengthy opening track Kling Klang (which gave its name to the studio that band has used ever since) is probably the most recognisably 'Kraftwerk' piece, shuffling along with a cool but understated melody carried mostly by Florian's flute. Very out there for its time for sure, but i think its way looked down upon in here because of what the group managed to archieve later in the decade. The droning beat and electronic punctuation is hugely important to their future sound but, even so the music soon involves into something more ambient and finally into this krautrock type jam for a very multi faceted number. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. This is by far their most ambient album, and a lot of the cuts really defy categorization. Those Kraftwerk fans who are not familiar with Kraftwerk's earlier material will be surprised, and maybe a bit dissapointed,by this album. oh man, so tough to review something like this, Reviewed in the United States on November 17, 2010. great job! It's tough reviewing early Kraftwerk because if I were to criticize some of their odd experimental ideas, it might come off like I simply don't GET what the band is trying to do. ( Well, SOME of it does, like STROM and KLINGKLANG). Album Rating: 3.5Let me know when you found it then. Much of the music has a strong psychedelic streak, in fact, and bears a strong family resemblance to some of Pink Floyd's earlier work or, more closely, Tangerine Dream's "Electronic Meditation" and "Alpha Centauri" --atmospheric, meandering instrumentals with guitar and a bit of flute, flavored with cosmic sci-fi moods and half-baked but well-intentioned evocations of Indian sitar music. This CD, Kraftwerk's second album, is one of the oddest things I've heard in a while. Don't use this space to complain about the average rating, chart position, genre voting, others' reviews or ratings, or errors on the page. Owning a quality shepard is nothing like owning a lab so be prepared. But it’s also obvious that this record was aiming to be pretty deliberately experimental. Album Rating: 4.0The Ralf Hutter and Florian Schneider show had ten seasons, the best of which were without a doubt 4-8. Side B is a piece of shit. Here they are in the very, very early stages of developing that signature sound, and about the only thing really electric is the electric guitar. These dogs have the greatest disposition and are wicked smart. Ancestral music for machines or a visionary soundtrack of a civilization of robots. Prime members enjoy fast & free shipping, unlimited streaming of movies and TV shows with Prime Video and many more exclusive benefits. I definately not recommend Kraftwerk 2 to everyone, and if you're expecting another Trans-Europe Express, this album will bore you, but if you like the more adventurous end of Krautrock, this album might be for you. It's also fascinating to campare with their later more polished work. Kraftwerk donc enregistra ce disque en quelques jours en Septembre 1971, à Düsseldorf pour le long titre de 17 minutes "kling klang", le reste à Hamburg. Before Kraftwerk became a robot pop group, they were a totally experimental band, and this, their second effort is by far their least accessible effort I have ever heard from these guys. There are barely any melodies here, or vocals,or percussion. Looks like you avant been trying hard enough! And it was good. The opening cut, "Klingklang" is the closest thing to resemble a song as it sounds exactly like a precursor to "Autobahn". I am really sorry to 'slag off' an iconic band like Kraftwerk but while I love a lot of their albums and have bought my fair share of their stuff in my time I have to say that the groups early recordings are abysmal with a capital A. I guess pioneering new things always has to start somewhere and to pioneer at all you have to be inventive, push the boundaries and steer clear from the norm but at the end of the day to release an album of experimentation without the hint of a song, a melody, or any vocals throughout is pushing things too far. To rate, slide your finger across the stars from left to right. Prime members enjoy FREE Delivery and exclusive access to music, movies, TV shows, original audio series, and Kindle books. a 2.9 average for this makes me sad, bad site! Kraftwerk´s debut album featured glimpses of excellence but to my ears drowned in directionless ambient sound experiments. For one, after relistening to the record, I found it to be a bit more underwhelming than I was hoping it would be. Be respectful! It's what I do. As such, it's a fascinating pointer towards the future, but it's still a long way from the Kraftwerk we all know. Kraftwerk, even at their best, were never a very exciting band and this is easily their most boring album. Again, this album is interesting in how it lead Kraftwerk to develop that Kraftwerk sound of The Man Machine and Computer Cafe. In retrospect it seems clear that we have here the basic ingredients of their musical sense; without this, their later albums would have had all the charm and artistry of speak-and-spell. Even highly praised side-A track Klingklang sounds like it was roughly 'sewn' from three different studio sessions. Reviewed in the United Kingdom on February 5, 2017, Originally this and Kraftwerk 1 came together in a vinyl set with squiggles on the sleeve, experimental stuff, mostly good some not so, Reviewed in the United Kingdom on December 12, 2016, Just as good as the first album. The rest of this album contains rather odd noodling on guitars and effects, and is truly not to everyone's taste. "Klingklang", after some concrete noise clangs, settles into a beautiful ambient track with a lovely analog drum machine beat.
