Supercars and support categories have gained permission from SA health authorities to transport cars and equipment by road into the state.
Toyota 86 was originally slated to commence its campaign at the Winton Supercars event before that was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as it did for its inaugural season in 2016. All Super3 Series models will be permitted to race including Ford Falcon EB to FG models and Holden Commodore VP to VE & VE ll. A new, five-round calendar has been issued in conjunction with the release of the new schedule for the Shannons Motorsport Australia Championships.
The combined races are slated to take place at the following events: Truck Assist Winton 18-19 July, Penrite Sandown 19-20 September, Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 8-11 October and Sydney Motorsport Park 12-13 December.
