I decided to have laser eye surgery after 13 years of wearing glasses and contact lenses. Many local pharmacies offer travel vaccinations at much cheaper prices, like Camden Travel Clinic, which is within a pharmacy and they only charge £186 for the whole (3 injection) course.Where as London Travel Clinic charge £90(!) I needed a COVID PCR test for my flight, results have still not arrived, and I ended up having to cancel my flight. Dr Ayoubi is very knowledgable and clearly an expert in this field. I can’t believe during a global crisis these mugs have no shame is scamming people. They made everything so comfortable and easy. The whole process was so relaxing and everything was explained thoroughly. Would definitely recommend if you’ve ever thought about it. From the initial consultations through to surgery, aftercare, and detailed follow-ups, the whole experience has been smooth, transparent, and completely painless. I know use them regularly. Unfortunately have not read previous review regarding Fit to Fly before using their service, and fell into the same trap. I chose LVC mainly because of the credentials of the surgeons but also all the positive reviews I'd read online. I have received both a hayfever injection and a TBE vaccination this year and both times I was very pleased with the service. Many dental and doctor practices are dominated by reception staff who are invariably untrained in anything other then telling people, quite rudely most of the time, they are unable to have an appointment due to unavailability of the doctors. All of my appointments ran smoothly and they were very accommodating and flexible when my car broke down on the motorway on my way to one checkup, fitting me in later in the day. If laser eye surgery is something you are considering, I would absolutely recommend you choose London Vision Clinic. Definitely recommend it! I went to Kings Cross LTC twice. After a short regime to improve my dry eyes I was able to have the surgery and the results have been life changing. Super easy to access and I felt confident in the advice I was being given. The Online Clinic provided a first rate service to meet my needs and I would not hesitate recommending their services to anyone seeking such medical assistance. She is professional and very kind, her injections were painless, she listened to my enquiries and did her best to accommodate. They do however make some claims on their website which I found not to be true, such as they would provide wipes to clean down belongings on arrival which didn't happen, you can use hand sanitiser as you move from one area to the other wasn't true as I was only offered this on arrival, and there are multiple touch points (going up and down lots of steep stairs where you need to hold onto hand rails etc), and I would have been grateful of staff offering me hand sanitiser more often but luckily I took my own. And although I am 56 I have a very young daughter and the benefits of being able play freely with her particularly on the beach has made the whole exercise enormously good value for money. He is extremely caring and friendly, and always put me at ease during my appointments. Absolutely could not recommend this place enough. The nurse ( a retired GP) was very knowledgeable and made sure that I was covered for all the main risks (in Borneo). I've requested some more a few times now and they've sent them out the same day. Needed quick help with an ear infection, I received my medication the next day before I would even be able to get a doctors appointment. It is no exaggeration to say the operation has changed my life; to wake up in the morning and not have to grope for glasses or go swimming and see everything is a joy.Many thanks to Mr Carp and his team.I would highly recommend London Vision Clinic to anybody thinking of laser eye treatment. I had a gum abscess but could not arrange an early appointment with my GP. Great, Nurse was very knowledgable and professional. Suffering from a dental infection and was in agony. Having made the initial appointment, I was very impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of all those I saw at the clinic. I hope this has put your mind at rest. Every appointment from pre-surgery to post-surgery I had at London Vision Clinic was exceptional. They were extremely helpful and most importantly advised that I was eligible even with my dry eyes. For me, it was 100% painless, all I felt was a slight pressure (a bit like if you rub your eyes) as the machine locks on to the eye. Needless to say it can be an anxious undertaking but the clinic staff were extremely thorough with tests, analysis and reassurance.
