Biography - A little something about...

Jordan Thompson

A revolutionary Jamaican raised spoken word Artist, Versatile is taking the Atlanta scene by storm. Hands down, this sultry entrepreneur knows how to use his body, tone, and gift of story-telling to lay down the laws of verbal narration. A savvy businessman, Versatyle co-owns PrepBoys Photography and recently launched his most talked-about, trendy and new, open mic event titled ‘Soulful Expressions’.

I was born  in Miami, Florida and raised in Jamaica.

Cedar Grove High School graduate in 2013 and currently attending Georgia State University

I have been in various plays and short films since elementary school to the present.

Other than school accomplishments and acting recognition, I have not been awarded for my work, but soon I will be noticed as one of the greatest and most relatable poets of my generation.

Tupac is my favorite writer, poet, and entertainer because he is vulnerable In his craft to the point that any person who isn't knowledgeable about a struggle or situation they can still feel the passion through his music, interviews, poems and even his movies.

My genre and writing is a Modern/comedic/story-telling/ realistic type of writing all in one.

I started writing because I didn't have anyone to speak to as a friend without being judged or can't even connect with. I couldn't look towards my family to talk to them either. So I started writing my feelings out on paper and eventually it became second nature to me. I started writing love poems to girls and I noticed later down the line this is a gift I have that can heal people lives emotional, spiritually, and physically.

My perfect day... is me laughing until my stomach burst with my friends and seeing my mom rest for the remainder of her life.

Inspiration... My mother is the greatest inspiration any male figure can have because she shows the true meaning of HardWork, Determination, Persistence, and Sacrifice. I work hard because she does too. I push harder because I know she doing it for her children to have a better life. So i got her back until I'm off this Earth.
